Creative Mourning ~ Opening Party

On September 12th, 2025, you’re invited to our opening party for Creative Mourning. Meet the team from PAUSE, learn more about the program, and hear from a number of the facilitating artists. We’ll share time together over light bites, drinks, and participate in some creative practices for grief! 

Creative Mourning (https://www.timetopause.org/peer-support-group) is a six-month peer support group for People of Color in Los Angeles to explore grief through art. Co-hosted by PAUSE (https://www.timetopause.org/) and the Feminist Center for Creative Work, each session invites participants into collective reflection, art-making, and storytelling ~ not as therapy, but as a shared inquiry into how grief lives in us, and how art helps us hold it.
