I have rented the Crafter’s Sanctuary in Duluth for my 2nd annual Fun in the Sun Creative Memories Scrappy Retreat starting on Wednesday, August 5 thru Sunday, August 9!Now’s the time to complete those unfinished projects or start up something new! Bring your scrappy projects for uninterrupted work time and plenty of workspace. Invite a friend or family member.
Your retreat fee will include your lodging at the retreat, all meals listed below and a super awesome scrappy gift!
Friday & Saturday minimum stay is required.
Friday & Saturday: $200 per person
(includes brunch, dinner & snacks for Friday & Saturday and brunch on Sunday)
Add on Wednesday or Thursday for $50 per person each day(includes dinner on Wednesday and brunch, dinner & snacks for the other days of the retreat)
RSVP as soon as you can, I expect to fill up the retreat long before the event (so don’t drag your feet)
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at time of RSVP with remaining fee due by July 1st. There is a lease
agreement for the retreat owners that must be submitted by July 1st as well. You can pay your deposit/fee by cash or check. I also accept PayPal & Venmo, just message me for the payment links.
Your arrival time is flexible. If you are attending on Wednesday, I ask you not to arrive before 2 pm and departure for all guests is by 2 pm on Sunday. Thursday & Friday arrival is whenever it works for you. Your fee is as listed even if you cannot arrive until late, I will not adjust the fee for missed meals. Please let me know if you have any dietary needs or allergies. I will not adjust the fee for missed or skipped meals. I will send out the daily menu at least one week prior to the event.
Your Scrappy Place will include your own 5 foot table for your workspace and a twin bed in one of 5 bedrooms. You will be sharing a room with other guests, as there are no private rooms. Please indicate if you are staying with friends and I will try to make sure you are in the same room & have you at nearby workstations. You will get a fun scrappy gift for
attending and there will be prizes and optional games/challenges each day. I promise not to distract you with a lot of activities. It is important to me that you can work on your own scrappy projects as much as possible.
Amenities at the retreat include a task light, trash bag and comfy chair at each table in a sun-filled craft room, wi-fi internet access, a Cricut & Sizzix machines. There is a large flat screen television and a DVD player in the craft room. I will bring a selection of “chick flick” movies and you can bring your own if you have a favorite. Your accommodation
includes bedding, towels, soap, shampoo & toiletries. The craft room will be open for use 24 hours, but we ask for quiet time between the hours of 10 pm – 8 am each day.
