The evening will include an art exhibition featuring and , artists talks, and light refreshments.
CURA's Creative Justice program bridges art, organizing, and community-based research by supporting two emerging artists whose creative practices advance equity and justice. Artists Udeshi Basu and Briauna Williams have spent the last year collaborating with CURA’s Community Programs team on community-led research and organizing initiatives that shift power, uplift community voices, and support collective action. The exhibition will feature their work that has deepened engagement, translated complex issues, and supported storytelling across a variety of CURA’s community-based projects.
