Creative Game Design Camp (grades 6-8)

Get creative and learn about game design. It’s not just code! Make graphics, balance the gameplay to make it fun and fair, and test your games’ rules. Experiment with different game-making apps and play different genres and even types of games. See what video games have in common with card and board games. Use paper prototyping to develop fun gameplay mechanics for digital or tabletop games.

Eligibility: For grades 6 - 8 (includes rising 6th graders)

Scholarships Available: If your student qualifies for free or reduced price lunch assistance they may receive a reduced camp fee of $10/day. Apply before registering at kramden.org/scholarships.

This is an in-person camp.

School Schedules: Matches all traditional schedules (summer break).

Camp Hours: 9 am - 4 pm. Earliest dropoff: 8:30 am. Latest pickup: 4:30 pm

Students should bring a bag lunch. Water, snacks, and class materials will be provided.
