6/27/24, 5:30-7:30pm: Finding Your Composition!This week, we will be focusing on the element of composition in your art. Let’s explore how we can discover new and intriguing compositions in our everyday life to help keep us inspired. Join us to learn what makes a composition effective in our art and explore how we can use this as a tool in our expressive adventures!
This workshop will offer participants all supplies needed, including 11x14 canvas panel, acrylic paints, brushes, pallets, unique utensils and tools, and more. The cost to attend this event is $15/ person.

About Creativity Workshops:
This creative workshop series aims to explore and enhance creativity, grow perspective and awareness, offer opportunities to dabble into new mediums, and have fun while learning new skills and creating art!
As artists, we may aim to create a connection between what is felt internally and what exists here in the external world.
We will explore how sensation, perception, and our own experiences of emotion can influence how we express ourselves through art. We will explore luminosity, color theory, and mood. We will consider compositional elements, line, balance, value and form, contrast, context, and so much more.
To expand our perspective is to give ourselves fresh and innovative eyes to see with.
We will learn to seek and find inspiration everywhere. We will add new value to our everyday lives and our artistic expressions. We will build on our creative abilities and gain skills, technique, and gather new tools to use in the creative process.
Come to a workshop to uncover new ways of expressing the meaning in your art. Every person of every skill level can apply the techniques we will be using in these workshops to enhance their art and grow as artists.
I invite you to come and explore a variety of techniques and practices to learn more about your individual art styles and preferences, the experimental approach to making art, and how to be more open and confident in the creative process.

11x14 canvas panel
Drawing paper
Markers, pencils, other drawing supplies
Acrylic paints
Pallets
Brushes
Water cups
Acrylic Mediums
Other Painting Tools
(Including unconventional painting utensils)
Limited Selection of aprons/ art smocks

Learn to see world with the eye of an artist!
We will maintain an open and casual atmosphere, encouraging participants to share ideas and to challenge themselves. We will be working to think "outside the box" and understand how to gather inspiration from anywhere.
