Creative Edinburgh Awards Ceremony 2024

Are you ready for the annual Creative Edinburgh Awards Ceremony? This year marks our twelfth celebration, showcasing the outstanding creatives who make Edinburgh the vibrant city it is!

Join us for an evening filled with fun, celebration and inspiration as we announce the winners of the 2024 Awards, honouring the people and projects that are pushing the creative boundaries in our city.

The night will feature performances by local artists, as well as music and dancing. As freelancers, creatives, and small businesses, we often miss out on year-end office parties — so let’s come together and celebrate 2024 with old friends and new!

Running Order:

19:00 – Doors open

20:00 – The Awards Ceremony kicks off with an introduction by Ola Wojtkiewicz, Creative Edinburgh Executive Director, and Zoe Farrugia, Creative Edinburgh Programme Manager

20:15 – Performance by local artist

20:25 – Announcement of winners of the Edinburgh City Award, Collaboration Award, Innovation Award, and the Development Award

20:45 – Break for drinks and food

21:00 – Announcement of winners of the Inclusion Award, Student Award, and Leadership Award

21:20 – Break for drinks and food

21:35 – Performance by local artist

21:40 – Announcement of winners for the Community Award, Festivals Award, and Sustainable Creativity Award

22:00 – DJ set

00:30 – Event close

Showcased around the venue, you'll also have the chance to learn more about the amazing projects and people shortlisted for the 2024 Awards.

How are we making the event accessible?

The event will take place in the main hall of Summerhall, with full wheelchair accessibility via a lift. There will also be a BSL interpreter throughout the Awards announcements. If you have any other access requirements, please let us know when registering or contact us directly. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
