An in-person day of dream sharing and creativity in Edinburgh
About this Event

Do you often wonder if your dreams are trying to tell you something? This will be a day of inner reflection and connecting to the wisdom of our Dreamtime, via two of Jenny's favourite ways of working with dreams: objectification with questions and energetic creating, through dream imagery.

Nobody can interpret your dreams for you. Sharing and reflecting on them in a held, confidential space with like minded folk can bring profound and far reaching insights, prompting empowering changes in your life, that may go way beyond anything your conscious mind is capable of.

One of the important things about working with Dreams is to bring them into our waking life and embody them. After sharing your dream within the confidential space of the group, your dream will be mirrored back to you through gentle, reflective questions that will help you objectify the dream and open up new possibilities in how you see it. You will then be invited to create your own dream creation, using pastels, paint, collage, found objects, or words. We will then come back into a sharing circle to share and reflection on anything that arose during this creative process.

This will be a small group of maximum 8 participants and will include sharing, reflection and creating from your dreams. It will be an opportunity to tune into your inner world and the wisdom your dreams maybe revealing to you, with a group of like minded people and a cosy wood burning stove, for company.

Everyone is welcome. No creative or dreamwork experience is necessary, but if you have experience of either, this will be a lovely way to re-visit in a new way. This day can be an introduction to both dreamwork, creating intuitively and Jenny’s particular style of working with dreams. Everything shared will be in confidence.

Please bring a dream written down to share with the group, some paper/a journal and lunch. there are also shops round about to buy lunch, if you prefer.

Venue: Mission Hall Studio, 37 Burns Street, EH6 8DS. Free on street parking and a regular bus service from just around the corner.

All refreshments and materials provided.

Comments form previous participants:

"Jenny’s dreamwork is a wonderful freeing up from the analytical mind and a delving deep into a more embodied, creative, magical approach to dreams. Her skilful and open questions encourage one to feel into the essence and energy of the dream and to speak spontaneously from this place. Rather than fixing on one interpretation I had a sense that the exploration could be an ever unfolding mystery. Beautiful soulful work." Kate

"Highly recommended! Jenny creates a very warm, welcoming and well structured session. Her incisive questioning and long experience in dream work has brought a new and clear view to my dreams. My aim was to more strongly connect my dream world to my day to day life and the Dream group is helping me to achieve this." Helen
