Creative Death Cafe
About this Event
Join us for an in-person gathering where we chat openly about death in a relaxed and supportive environment. There is no agenda or objectives, discussion is directed by the group who may wish to share their thoughts, fears and experiences related to death, without judgement or pressure to contribute more than you wish. Refreshments will be provided!
The session will be facilitated by our guest speaker Hannah Todd (Guide in Grief & Funeral Celebrant), and also author of The Legacy Book along with nursing students.
Our aim is to reduce the stigma and taboo surrounding death and dying while offering a space for reflective, meaningful dialogue, creative arts (optional) and an opportunity to share end of life practice related experiences.
Please note: This event will include open discussion about death, dying, and related experiences. Some individuals may find these topics emotionally challenging. Please take care of your wellbeing and only participate if you feel comfortable to do so. There will be opportunities to debrief and provide pastoral and signposting support to services, for anyone who feels they may benefit from further guidance following the session.
