Creative Courage - A Supportive Space for Women

April's Theme: Bloom! Celebrating ourselves in Springtime

The expression "Bloom where you are planted " reminds us that we can shift and grow throughout the seasons of our life. This month's workshop incorporates flower art to explore and express how we have and will continue to bloom as we determine our own growth.
This monthly gathering is a dynamic and empowering space for women who find inspiration and connection through creativity. Designed to nurture self-awareness, resilience, and a sense of community, Creative Courage blends educational content, group discussions, and experiential arts-based activities to support personal growth and emotional well-being.

Each session provides:

• Educational Content to explore themes like self-expression, stress management, and navigating challenges with creativity and courage.
• Group Discussions to foster connection, share experiences, and build mutual support.
• Approachable Arts Activities led by facilitators (and occasional guest artists/co-facilitators), using creative exercises such as journaling, movement, visual arts, or storytelling to deepen self-awareness and promote healing.

Therapeutic Goals:

• Cultivate self-awareness by exploring creative expression.
• Build resilience through the arts, learning tools to manage stress and embrace change.
• Strengthen community connections by fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
• Encourage emotional regulation and self-compassion through creative practices.
• Enhance confidence in self-expression and decision-making by embracing one’s unique creative identity.
