Creative Club: Mindful Clay Workshop at Millworks

A relaxing introduction to kurinuki, a Japanese technique requiring patience, care and mindfulness. You'll form, hollow then sculpt a spherical form which Catherine will fire and return to Guildhall the following month (firing costs included in your ticket). Come and join hiro ceramics at the fabulous Millworks on Tuesday 7th July from 6-7:30pm for a candlelit clay experience.

Millworks is a modern, vibrant restaurant in the heart of Cambridge, overlooking the old Millpond on the Granta River. It’s one of the most beautiful areas of Cambridge, a social spot where you can relax, unwind and enjoy the hospitality. Enjoy a selection of foods provided by Millworks as part of the experience including assorted sandwiches, freshly baked scones, sausage rolls, olives and fries. This experience is run as part of Cambridge BID's Creative Club series. Taking place on the first Tuesday of every month, each session is led by a different artist or creative practitioner and hosted at a different venue across the city. The series aims for vistiors and residents to explore a new activity (or practice an existing hobby) in a social setting within Cambridge. Activites include a variety of craft and creative led sessions, including illustration, ceramics and bouquet making (with much more to come!).
