Looking for a way to capture a little holiday spirit? Want to do something different with your friends, family, or co-workers this holiday season? Come create a meaningful holiday artistic tradition by making beautiful hand-built pottery keepsakes. Bring your friends and family -- or escape on your own! These clay pieces will last a lifetime and will be suitable for gifting or displaying in your own home.
Each person in the workshop will be provided with enough clay to make a set of 2 holiday nativities. Any excess clay can be used to make two Christmas ornaments. Additional ornaments will be available at an additional charge. After creating the selected items, participants will be able to choose the glazes and/or colors to be applied by The Wheel in the Window staff.
Cost per person is $65.00, which includes clay and all materials, use of tools, and instruction for hand building the items, as well as the finishing glazes and 2 firings of each item. Class size is limited to eight people, and preregistration is required.
