About this Event
All of us are built to sing.
That's what it says on Sarina's website. Join A Peace of My Mind's John Noltner for the next session of our Creative Changemakers series.
We will welcome Twin Cities-based community song-leader Sarina Partridge to the stage to hear about her work and process....AND THEN...Sarina will lead us in song. Imagine friends and strangers...musically inclined or not...brave or shy...gathered 'round to connect and create something beautiful together.
I've seen Sarina at work. I've participatede in one of her community song circles, and it is nothing short of magical. You don't need any special tools. You don't need to prepare or practice. You don't even need any skill or talent. You are enough. And you have everything you need. Just show up and get ready to enjoy a night that will lift your spirits and send you out the door with a renewed sense of hope.
There will be light snacks beverages on hand.
Tickets are free, required, and will sell out quickly, so register soon and we will look forward to seeing you.
Sarina Partridge is a musician, song-leader, educator and activist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She feels most alive when learning, creating and sharing songs. Sarina sings with a wide variety of music projects: community song-leading; harmony-rich original music with folk trio Heartwood; and performing and teaching of Yiddish song - her own musical lineage. Sarina has a passion for connecting people with their own creativity and with community, and uses community singing as a tool for helping folks develop a sense of wonder, belonging, interdependence, and hope.
