This 4 hour tango music workshop with Caroline Pearsall (violin) and John Tuville (Piano) explores the arrangements of Carlos Di Sarli's orchestra from various perspectives:

• the role of the piano
• form and variation
• classical and non-classical elements and influences
• tango phrasing
• performance techniques
• stories and biography

You will be given copies of the sheet music beforehand. The pieces we will look at are:

Bahia Blanca, Catamarca, Comme Il Faut and Racing Club.
