💃 About the workshop

We invite you into a space where lightness meets deep, conscious work with the body, movement, imagination, and the nervous system. This workshop series is rooted in the movement language of the Ilan Lev Method (ILM), somatic release techniques, functional movement, and creatively guided movement explorations.

Throughout the workshop, we will explore how the body and nervous system respond to the meeting point of physicality, presence, and mindful attention, supported by gentle kinesthetic stimulation based on imagery. This practice helps release tension, soften habitual patterns, and open pathways to new possibilities of movement, being, and communication.

Participants learn to support neuroplasticity, mobility, body awareness, and the development of physical intelligence. The series also includes creative forms of self-reflection, internal mindfulness practices, and exploration of the body’s innate creative potential. An important aspect of the work is the study of conscious touch, authentic movement, and improvisation.

🤲 About the Ilan Lev Method somatic session

The Ilan Lev Method (ILM) is a practice that restores movement to parts of the body whose communication has been disrupted due to injuries, trauma, dysfunctions, or emotional overload. An ILM session is a form of manual therapy based on a dialogue between practitioner and client, where questions are asked through touch and movement, and the body responds through effortless reactions. This fluid communication helps uncover blockages and sources of functional issues, decode them, and reveal the body’s vast potential by introducing new movement possibilities.

ILM is rooted in the Feldenkrais Method and reflexology, offering holistic—not localized—support for the body. It works therapeutically with the skeletal and nervous systems, stimulating regenerative processes, reconnecting the body with the sensory parts of the brain, and opening pathways to more natural, integrated movement patterns.
