Creative Arts Workshop - The Basics of Alcohol Inks with Meg Homeier

In this workshop adult students will be introduced to alcohol ink, a fascinating and fluid medium. The colors are intense, and they flow faster than watercolor. Local artist Meg Homeier will present a short demo and talk about the properties of the inks and how to blend them and move them around on Yupo paper using unusual tools like straws. She will also offer instruction on techniques like tipping the paper and spritzing with clear alcohol. The magic happens when the colors start to mix on the paper. Each participants’ creations will be unique and worth framing. All materials provided.

Workshop is for participants age 18+.
