Creative Art Journaling Masterclass – Extended Workshop (4h long)

A spacious, slow-paced creative gathering designed for those who want a deeper experience beyond the usual workshop. Think of it as a mini creative retreat with time set aside just for you, your journal, and the joy of making something by hand.

No experience needed — simply show up, settle in, and let your creativity unfold at your own pace.

This extended 4-hour session gives you the gift of time: time to explore new techniques, revisit old ideas, and sink fully into the process. The flow is gentle and spacious:

• We’ll begin with a relaxed welcome and brief guided prompt to help you land in a creative mindset.
• Every 30 minutes or so, I’ll introduce a new collage or journaling technique to spark fresh inspiration
• Between demos, you’ll have unhurried time to experiment, reflect, and create your own pages.

You’re free to follow the suggestions or let your curiosity lead the way. There’s no pressure to finish — just time to explore, discover, and enjoy.

• A A5 art journal to take home
• A set-up workspace with cutting mat, scissors, glue, and endless collage materials (magazines, vintage paper, washi tape, markers, and more)
• Coffee, tea, and a small snack
• 4 hours of creative time
• Quiet background music, space to focus or chat, and a carefully curated creative atmosphere

Feel free to bring your own journal or favorite materials if you wish.

The space is calm, cozy, and open-ended, a place where ideas can grow slowly. Some participants work in quiet flow; others chat as they create. You choose your pace and your level of interaction.

This isn’t a class with steps to follow rather it’s an invitation to slow down, play, and reconnect with your creative intuition.

By the end of the retreat, you’ll take home:

• Your personal art journal (with multiple spreads started or completed)
• New collage and journaling ideas you can continue at home
• A refreshed, grounded feeling and maybe a spark of inspiration you didn’t expect

• You’ve joined a previous workshop and wished for more time
• You’ve joined a shorter workshop before and wanted more time to explore
• You’re drawn to paper, collage, and materials that spark imagination
• You appreciate process over perfection and want to explore creativity without pressure
