Free for anyone 55 and better!
This unique UMFA workshop invites intergenerational groups of up to three participants to create artworks celebrating elders in society.
Projects will include creating a crown, a storytelling workshop, building a diorama, and a collage based on the work of artist Arleene Correa Valencia. Participant groups must include one person 55+ and up to two people of a younger generation who are interested in working together. Participants do not need to be related. All participants must be registered for this event. Please note younger participants must be of school age and able to work in a classroom and museum setting.
Participants are limited to one eight-session UMFA 55+ workshop offered from January through June 2025.
