Creating (Sexy) Paranormal Characters
About this Event
A fun, imaginative session exploring ways to create surprising paranormal and fantasy characters and blend them seamlessly into the “normal” world.
Helen and Andie will share their character-creation techniques and then help you develop your own original paranormal or fantasy lead character or villain. You’ll search for your character within the realm of the ordinary and everyday before transforming them with a power or trait that makes them extraordinary and other-worldly … and, maybe, seriously hot.
Join Helen and Andie and let your imagination run wild. Who knows, maybe one day your character creation will be the object of a million readers’ desire!

Workshop leaders:
Helen Bright is author of The Night Movers Vampire Series and The Runaway Series. Raised in South Yorkshire, she often bases her novels in and around the county, often including darker elements in her deep and meaningful love stories.
Andie M. Long (also writes as Angel Devlin), who started her writing life at forty, and is the author of the 10-book series The Supernatural Dating Agency.
