Experience the art of mandala-making in a reflective, meditative environment. Explore the spiritual significance and therapeutic qualities of working within the sacred geometry of the circle, while learning simple techniques for creating with radial symmetry.
During this mini-retreat, you’ll:
-Create four mandalas, including one collaborative community piece
-Participate in guided meditations to deepen focus and presence
-Walk away with tools and practices to continue creating mandalas on your own
What to bring:
-A sketchbook or journal
-Favorite art supplies (markers, pens, colored pencils, etc.)
-Natural objects for the community mandala (flowers, stones, etc.)
We provide: Some art supplies and light snacks
No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to slow down, reflect, and create.
Meet your instructor: Amy Fitzpatrick is an experienced visual arts educator with 25 years in the field. Amy works with a variety of mediums but specialize in mandalas, tarot cards and sigils in her personal practice. Amy has a daily mandala creation practice, ever since 2020.
