We are going to explore how strategic design and AI can come together through structured, collaborative methodologies.

In this session, we’ll take a closer look at the Flamel project, where designers and data scientists worked hand-in-hand, implementing a tailored design process to co-create impactful, user-centered AI solutions based on real needs.

We’ll share an overview of the frameworks, tools, and practices that supported teamwork, highlighting the unique workflows and decision-making approaches that bridged the creative and analytical perspectives of both teams.

This event offers a deep dive into building AI experiences through design-led, interdisciplinary methodologies.

Speaker Bio:

Elisa Fabbian is a Lead Digital Product Designer with over 10 years of experience crafting B2B and B2C products, enhancing companies' internal processes, and guiding design teams in international, cross-functional environments. Passionate about sustainability, she focuses on empowering designers to create more ethical products and services.

Ilaria Porto is a Digital Product Designer with 3 years of experience in the design field. She studied graphic design and art direction, beginning her career at a branding agency, then evolved to specialize in digital product design. Today her goal is to create digital interfaces that are intuitive, scalable, and capable of enhancing user experiences and achieving business goals.

Milica Cvjeticanin is a Machine Learning Engineer at Alkemy's internal team, AI EVOLUTION HUB. With a background in Data Science and Robotics, she is dedicated to the research and development of Generative AI solutions. Guided by the principle of making data-driven decisions, she has a keen interest in AI, DL, and ML.

Christian Quaggio is a Data Engineer at Alkemy's internal department AI Evolution Hub. With a background in particle physics, he contributes to the infrastructure team by developing and deploying Generative AI solutions. He is dedicated to promoting innovation and enhancing the capabilities of AI/ML technologies.

This event is hosted at Design Group Italia office, Via Aleardo Aleardi, 12 Milano. The event will be held in English. At the end of the talks will follow a networking aperitif with food and drinks.

This event is hosted by Alkemy and Design Group Italia . There will be 25 seats reserved to the community. If the tickets are sold out you can register on the waitlist, we will apply a first-in first-out policy to assign seats in case of cancellations.
