The Center for Applied Theatre and Active Culture (CATAC) is excited to announce its collaboration with Towpath Credit Union to host a FREE financial understanding workshop for artists at the Balch Street Theatre on September 24, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.This financial literacy workshop will promote artist’s financial well-being through a hands-on financial coaching workshop, helping give artists the tools to make their careers fiscally sustainable.
This event is part of CATAC’s Artist Advancement Series, an ArtsForward-funded forum where artists and arts organizations can explore alternative creation practices and leadership models, in which attendees have the opportunity to explore various topics, including the intersection of art and healing; non-hierarchical leadership structures; and self-care and financial literacy for working artists.
Important note: The elevator at the Balch Street Theatre is broken, therefore unfortunately, the event is not ADA-accessible.
