Creating Canopies at Discovery Park in Liverpool

About this event.

Join the City of Liverpool and Greater Sydney Landcare to increase the canopy at Discovery Park in the heart of Liverpool.

Plant trees to create a canopy, create valuable habitat for birds and other wildlife, and build beautiful spaces for locals to visit. Free lunch and morning tea will be provided for all attendees.

Green spaces aren't just great for urban ecosystems, they're also associated with better physical health, lower stress levels, and greater community satisfaction. Now's your chance to get involved with revitalising this space in your neighbourhood.

Please wear long sleeves, long pants, closed sturdy shoes, and a hat and sunscreen, and bring your own drink bottle.

On-site training, tools, and refreshments will be provided. The area has been prepared for planting and is suitable for families.

RSVPs are essential to help us with catering. Please email us or cancel your ticket if you can no longer attend. Car parking is available.

For insurance purposes, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian if you are under 16 years of age.
