Angie Hong will speak to the club about bird-friendly native landscapes. Angie Hong is the dedicated coordinator of the East Metro Water Resource Education Program (EMWREP), hosted by the Washington Conservation District in Minnesota, a 30-member local government partnership focused on water education and conservation. She authored the nature-oriented guide Exploring the St. Croix River Valley: Adventures on and off the Water, published in July 2024, which captures hidden gems and accessible outdoor experiences near the Twin Cities. She shares her love for nature and conservation on social media under the handle @mnnature_awesomeness.The club business meeting begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by refreshments and social time from 7-7:30. We meet in the Saint Anthony Park Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall; enter off of Luther Place. Visitors are welcome. We will also broadcast the meeting over Zoom.
