Creating an Inclusive Workplace for Employees with Additional Needs

Truro and Penwith College would like to invite all employers of current apprentices to attend a training session that will support you in your understanding of how to best support employees with additional needs and create a safe and inclusive workplace.

The training will take place in the Fal Building on the Truro Campus on 22nd October 2024, with registrations and refreshments from 16:45 and the training beginning at 17:00 and ending at 18:00.

The session content will include -

* The Equality Act 2010

* The responsibilities of employers and apprentices

* How to evaluate your employees needs and the potential impact in the workplace

* Reasonable adjustments for employees with disabilities or health conditions

* National support schemes, including Access to Work

* Support available from Truro and Penwith College to you and your apprentice
