Have you been interested in learning the basics of quilting but felt overwhelmed with where to start? Mary Vittone is offering a two day workshop to teach you how to quilt a lap blanket. The first class on 04/28 will be a non-sewing day where students learn the art of measuring, cutting, selecting fabrics, and other basics needed to plan out their lap quilts. The second class on 05/04 will focus on putting those skills from the first class to use as students will learn to make a lap quilt.
Included in the class:
All fabric
Batting
Binding
Thread
Sewing tools and machines (available for use during class or students may bring their own).
Mary is an avid quilter, knitter, crafter, and loves to re-purpose anything and everything. Class size is limited so sign up early! Registration closes 04/26/2024.
Anchorage re:MADE class spaces are primarily accessible only by stairs. For students needing accommodations please notify Class Coordinator at [email protected].
