About this Event
Workshop 1 - CreaTech Partnerships: How to Choose Strategic Partners To Power Your Projects (Refreshments provided)
As part of the CreaTech Frontiers programme and through discussion and practical exercises, you’ll gain tools and insights to build collaborations that are creative, sustainable and set up for success.
From the smallest projects to the biggest collaborations, CreaTech is powered by partnerships. But choosing the right partners can be difficult. From technologies and platforms to budgets and timelines, and the push and pull of creative development, partnerships can make or break a great idea. In this workshop, strategist and consultant Ian Ravenscroft (Founder, Green Raven) invites you to explore the good, the bad, and the ugly of CreaTech partnerships and learn ways to identify the right partners for your projects.
Who should attend?
Whether you’re an artist, technologist, SME, producer or project manager successful collaboration is key to thriving in the CreaTech space. This session will help you understand what makes good partnerships work or what can cause them to fail.
This session will evaluate potential partners, tools to strengthen existing collaborations and renewed confidence in shaping creative and commercial relationships that truly deliver.
CreaTech Frontiers is a 5-year £7.2 million project funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) establishing a West Midlands CreaTech ecosystem by funding collaborative R&D, supporting business innovation and developing skills and talent.
