CreaTech Frontiers is delivered by a consortium of six core partners: Birmingham City University, Coventry University, the University of Birmingham, the University of Warwick, Digital Catapult and the Royal Shakespeare Company.
It is the West Midlands’ creative industries cluster driving the next generation of innovation in the region, with the aim of transforming how creative content, products, and services are made, shared, and experienced - by placing inclusive, ethical, and sustainable innovation at it’s core.
This event will look to the future of the creative technology industries, open up discussion around place-based funding, and spotlight regional capabilities and current themes that make the West Midlands a thriving hub for creative technology innovation.
There will also be opportunity to experience the creative outputs from those in region that have been funded by CreaTech Frontiers so far.

What is CreaTech Frontiers?
CreaTech Frontiers is a 5-year £7.2 million project funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) establishing a West Midlands CreaTech ecosystem by funding collaborative R&D, supporting business innovation and developing skills and talent. Led by Birmingham City University with Coventry University, the University of Birmingham, The University of Warwick, the Royal Shakespeare Company and Digital Catapult, providing access to a network of four complementary, interconnected R&D labs, expert academic partners and a network of industry partners.
