Create your own Ramen Bowl

We will lead you into creating your very own ramen bowl through hand building techniques. You will have access to decorating tools. When you're done, we will send your Ramen bowl to the oven for a bisque firing which is included into this cost. You will have the possibility to come and glaze your ramen bowl in order to further decorate and make it food safe - this can only be done once it has been bisque fired . To get a bowl bisque fired usually takes two weeks to fire safely and avoid explosions !

Follow up and check if your piece is ready by e-mailing us to [email protected] and providing the day in which you made it. You have the choice to pick up your bisqued bowl and use it decoratively or glaze it and use it for food. If you glaze your ramen bowl it will need to be fired a second time to activate the glaze and seal it so that it can have a glass like finish. Glazing is held on Thursday evenings or once a month during our Glaze movie nights.

Glazing is usually $10 pp, for up to 3 regular sized pieces or one ramen bowl. You must pre-book on www.Artisansplayhouse.com to attend. After the guided class is over, you are welcome to stick around and continue creating. Karaoke is optional/available upon request Attire: We ask that you dress comfortably and lightly as well as secure any hanging accessories and jewelry.
