Create your own Matisse inspired book at Launceston Library
About this Event
Launceston Library, supported by Friends of the Library Launceston, invites you to join a cosy Winter Arts Workshop at the Library. This series of free workshops brings professional artists to the Library to share their skills in a range of different mediums. Suitable for adults aged 16+, with any level of experience.
Join artist Jo Malherbe for a relaxed morning at the library exploring the beauty and simplicity of Matisse’s cut-outs and collage. Through colour, shape and imagination, you’ll combine book making and collage techniques to create a unique handmade artist book.
While you’re at the Library, why not join the Warm Winter Read! Pull up a chair, grab a hot drink and get reading. Warm Winter Read is a feel-good winter challenge for Tasmanians aged 16 and over. Join our statewide winter reading challenge and make it easy (and fun) to read a little more – or jump back into reading – across June, July and August. Warm Winter Read - Libraries Tasmania
