Bird of the Year is back for 2024 - show us who you're backing with our kids merch craft station.
Show your colours by creating your own BOTY2024 campaign merch! Whether it’s a “Vote Kākā” cap or a “Hihi for BOTY” sticker, get the word out there and support your favourite manu/bird!
Local artist and educator Margaret Tolland supplies the materials for this free event and guides tamariki/kids in creating their very own campaign merch to take home. All ages welcome.
This workshop will be held in the Visitor Centre Foyer, normal admission to the sanctuary applies.

Zealandia is backing kākā this year and spot prizes are up for grabs for the best kākā merch!
