About this Event
Join us for an inspiring and transformative workshop where you’ll craft your very own wall hanging, a beautiful blend of art and self-care that reflects your personal self-care rituals and passions.
In this hands-on session, you’ll:
Design a Unique Wall Hanging: Incorporate your favourite self-care activities into a stunning piece of art that will serve as a daily reminder to nurture yourself.
Foster Mindfulness and Well-being: Engage in a creative process that promotes relaxation, mindfulness, and a deeper connection to your self-care practices.
Connect with Like-minded Individuals: Share this enriching experience with others who value the importance of self-care and creativity.
By the end of this workshop, you’ll have a unique piece of art to adorn your home and a tangible reminder of the importance of self-care in your daily life.
Steps
- There will be some prompts provided to help you reflect on activities you enjoy doing by yourself and with others.
- You can select a cardboard house shape from the table, which will have sections for you to decorate.

About Katie
Katie Schreiber is a visual artist based in London. Within her work she explores the notion of identity both as something that comes from within and one that is projected onto us, drawing on personal experiences from her cultural upbringing and her relationship with queerness. She expresses these themes through a combination of body adornment, installation, and soft sculptures.
