Create Your Art Portfolio - Free Workshop

Introductions

Greetings! John Kind Studios LLC. would like to graciously invite all Black Boston Artists to our free workshop to develop art portfolios. Our goal for this workshop is to provide free support to underserved Black Artists by refining artist resumes, as well as providing artists with the necessary tools to succeed.

Program Breakdown:

Breakfast and Lunch will be provided for everyone at the event and vegan options will be available as well. We will also have an open round table discussion about the advancement of Black Art and ways to maneuver some of the challenges. If you're interested in reserving your slot for a free artist photoshoot at the event, please register with our Early Bird Ticket. It will be on a first come first serve basis, 15min slots, 9 artists max. We will also have special panel guests that will connect you with resources for mental health and financial freedom. Please note, cameras will be present to document our time together, so if you do not want to be photographed please inform staff prior to the event.

Policy:

We declare this event to be a safe place for people of color from all self identified backgrounds. Absolutely under NO circumstances will we tolerate racism, homophobia, discrimination, disrespect, bullying, or judgement of any kind. Reports of this will be immediately investigated by staff and the guest will be asked to leave the event if discovered. All Artists and staff that attend our event expect to be respected for who they are as individuals and therefore we support this motion and all attendees are subject to this policy as well, thank you.
