A clay workshop that is fun for the whole family!
About this Event

Create with Clay

Join us for a clay workshop that's fun for the whole family! This workshop offers kids an exciting introduction to basic clay techniques, where they'll craft a decorative ceramic plate inspired by their favorite theme. Participants will explore a range of clay techniques to bring their unique designs to life, including using tools for intricate textures, adding 3D elements, and utilizing sgraffito for detailed carving. Afterward, vibrant ceramic glazes will be applied to achieve a bold, colorful finish. All plates will be fired and ready for pickup at Studio One One Six (116 E Pender St, Vancouver) two weeks later. Please note that all children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult during the workshop.

TIMES: 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM PST and 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM PST

LENGTH: 1.5 hours

LOCATION: Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your workshop time to allow time to check-in. The check-in tent is located on the east side of Strathcona Park.

AGES: Kids (ages 5-11), Suitable for beginners and up! Kids must be accompanied by an adult.
