Join us for a fun hands-on art experience for adults and youths alike!Learn about this traditional art from Puebla, Mexico, created by the indigenous Otomi people. Participants will be able to create their own Otomi-inspired art with bark paper and oil pastels.
About the teaching artist:
Oakland native Rachel-Anne Palacios is a self-taught multicultural artist, with many ties to the city’s cultural diversity. Rachel is a former museum educator with the Oakland Museum of California, now sharing her cultural and folk arts education programs for people of all ages at libraries and schools throughout the Bay Area.
This free event received funding support from the Friends of the Menlo Park Library.
