About the Event:

Born in London, Francia spent her formative years in Ghana, West Africa. At the age of eleven returning to London, it is this international upbringing that has led Francia to experience the best of both worlds!

Now living in North Edinburgh Francia runs several community groups as well as founding and managing her own clothing business.

Francia won sole trader of the year award in 2020 and will share expert advice on how to start and build your business.

The event will include a talk and activities with Francia, supported by Create Community Wealth, and refreshments will be provided, including food by talented locals!

About Create Community Wealth:

Create Community Wealth (CCW) is looking to support local people living in North Edinburgh to explore their creative and enterprising ideas.

Get involved to meet people, make local and city-wide connections, try out ideas and share your skills, learn more about marketing and selling your products and services, and take part in markets and events, in person and online.

With creative and business support from the CCW team, local entrepreneurs and more!

Create Community Wealth is a Culture Collective project run in partnership with WHALE Arts, North Edinburgh Arts, SCOREscotland and Passion4Fusion.

Important Information:

These sessions are aimed at adults living in the local community (areas of Muirhouse, Pilton, Granton and Drylaw).

Places are FREE but due to limited capacity advance registration is recommended.

To ensure everyone can take part comfortably, numbers will be limited in line with venue capacities and current Covid-19 guidance.
