UTC-04:00Location
1080 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT, United States, Connecticut 06510 | New Haven, CT
Both Blake and Locke use collage, text, printing, and color to imagine new worlds of possibility and challenge the status quo. The workshops explore William Blake: Burning Bright and Hew Locke: Passages through a close investigation of material and process to see how the artists create innovative ways of shifting perspectives and opening the imagination. Ultimately we create our own imagined worlds through printmaking, collage, and word play.
Adults of all artistic abilities are welcome to join. All materials are supplied.
Registration is required; program limited to twelve people. This program meets on Thursdays, October 2, 16, and 23, 5:30–6:45 pm. If you need to cancel or cannot attend the full run of this program, please email [email protected] as soon as possible so we can open your spot to someone on the waiting list.
