This beginner-friendly class introduces adults to the fundamentals of jewelry making using plate metal. Designed for those with little or no prior experience, students will learn essential fabrication skills needed to create simple, wearable pieces.
Instruction will cover how to safely and effectively use a jeweler’s saw, bend and form metal, create surface texture, and solder components together. Through guided, hands-on projects, students will gain confidence with tools and techniques while learning the basics of design and craftsmanship.
By the end of the class, participants will leave with finished jewelry and the foundational skills needed to continue exploring metal jewelry making on their own. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to learn.
