we’ll guide you through the process of making beautiful red bracelets, which are traditionally worn as symbols of protection.
In many Latin American cultures, red bracelets are believed to ward off negative energy and offer protection to the wearer.
By creating and wearing these bracelets, we honor the deep cultural roots of Día de Muertos, a time when we remember and celebrate the lives of our loved ones who have passed on.
Not only will you leave with your own bracelet, but you’ll also have the opportunity to create additional bracelets to be donated to our fundraising efforts. These bracelets will be sold, with all proceeds supporting the mission of The BIPOC Alliance.
Deets:
- All ages
- No experience is necessary
- Supplies will be provided
- Snacks provided - feel free to bring something to share
