Create & Play (Special Edition in Partnership with Imagination Library of Denver)

Join us for a special edition of Create & Play on Thursday, November 19, 10am-12pm!
Create & Play is an early-childhood program for families with children ages 0–5. The program offers a range of experiences within the museum, including a performance, artmaking, and in-gallery activities. It is included with general admission, which is FREE for everyone 18 and under.
For November, we are celebrating art in books and remembering the beloved Dolly Parton in partnership with Imagination Library of Denver. Join our Imagination Factory favorites, Numbers 1 and 2, as we discover that books are full of art and often appear in artwork too! Kid participants at Create & Play can enroll in Imagination Library of Denver's free book program and take home a free book while supplies last.
Create & Play occurs on the third Thursday of every month during the school year. Events in the 2026-27 school year take place on November 19, December 17, January 21, February 18, March 18, April 15, and May 20.
