About this Event
Join OAI for a hands-on session on creating an accessible syllabus.
We often think of the syllabus as just a roadmap, but it’s actually one of our most powerful tools for educational equity. When we design with WCAG 2.1 guidelines in mind—using things like clear heading structures and descriptive links—we aren't just checking a compliance box; we’re ensuring that every student, including those using assistive technologies or who are neurodivergent have the information they need to engage with your course from day one.
This workshop is offered in person and online. Select from the two in-person workshop dates, March 11, 2026 and April 2, 2026 on this event registration page. For virtual offerings, visit our Create an Accessible Syllabus | Virtual Workshop registration page.
