This month, we invite you to participate in a community-led art project. The piece consists of 48 clay tiles which will come together to display a hand-carved mosaic of the St. Louis River Estuary—a reflection of the unique people, thoughts, and feelings that encompass the estuary.
In coordination with Cafe Sci Twin Ports, the team of artists and ecologists, this will be part discussion and part painting event at Dovetail Café on Thursday, February 6th from 6-7:30 pm.
Regardless of painting skill, everyone is free to come and paint a tile for the project, enjoy some warm beverages, and celebrate being a part of this wonderful community. As we want the project to emphasize community, interconnectivity, and creativity, please join, spread the word, and bring a friend!
