Crazy Media Art Camp- Ages 8-12

Being introduced to as many art materials as possible is really important for students. In this camp, we will focus on mark making, color, expression of ideas, and storytelling through drawing, collage, fiber arts, and other 3D projects as students explore a variety of ways to create . We will use pencil, wiki sticks(tempera), oil pastels, watercolor pencils, and fibers, homemade papers and found objects. Creative thinking games and collaborative storytelling will help teach basic principles of art: line, shape, value, color, form and texture. students will bring home a new art piece at the end of each class!
