Craving With Purpose (YOUTH EVENT)
Join Passion to Purpose for Carving With Purpose, a fun and meaningful fall experience created especially for teens.
Participants will carve or paint their own pumpkins, enjoy music, light bites and drinks, and take part in a guided Release & Receive activity. This activity will encourage teens to identify something they are ready to let go of while making room for confidence, peace, growth and purpose.
Each participant will take home their completed pumpkin as a reminder of what they are releasing and what they are choosing to receive.
Prizes will be awarded for Best Carved Pumpkin and Best Painted Pumpkin.
Carving With Purpose offers teens a safe, positive and creative environment where they can express themselves, connect with others and learn more about Passion to Purpose’s youth mentorship programs.
Space is limited. Advance registration is required.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
Registration includes:
• One pumpkin
• Carving or painting supplies
• Battery-operated candle
• Release & Receive activity materials
• Light bites and drinks
• Entry into the pumpkin contest
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This event is designed for teens who enjoy creative activities, seasonal fun, meeting new people and participating in positive personal-development experiences.
No artistic or pumpkin-carving experience is necessary.
WHAT TO WEAR
Participants should wear comfortable clothing that may get a little messy. Aprons or protective coverings will be available, but washable paint and pumpkin materials will be used.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Advance registration is required because pumpkins and supplies must be purchased for each participant.
Please register separately for each teen attending. A parent or legal guardian must complete all required permission, emergency-contact and photo-consent questions.
If you can no longer attend, please cancel your registration or contact us so the space can be offered to another teen.
SAFETY INFORMATION
Teen-appropriate pumpkin-carving tools will be used under adult supervision. Painting will be available for participants who prefer not to carve.
