Crash the Lab: Surgical Technology Hands-On Lab

Surgical Technology programs train students on the concepts used in the operating room, including preparing surgical instruments, supporting sterile procedures, and assisting the surgical team during procedures. It’s hands-on, detail-oriented work that plays an important role in patient care every day.

At this live on-campus lab experience, you’ll:

• Step into our surgical lab and see training in action.
• Observe demonstrations using surgical instruments, sterile trays, drapes, scrub sinks, PPE, and operating room setup equipment.
• Learn how students practice sterile technique, instrument handling, and preparation for the surgical environment.
