Cranksgiving is a food drive on two wheels. Part bike ride, part food drive, part scavenger hunt, it has been held annually in New York City since 1999. This is a ride with friends for a great cause!
THIS YEAR!
This is and always has been a great ride with friends. We are totally ditching the "race" part and being thankful for what we love the most! RIDING BIKES WITH FRIENDS! don't have bike friends? Join our group! It will be sooooo much fun!
THIS IS IMPORTANT!
There is no early hand out of the manifest this year and expect to do about 25 miles if you only do the manifest. If you would like to do it ahead of the event, please see the next sentence.
MESSAGE THE ACCOUNT or INSTAGRAM IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS or ask another person that has done this before. Nothing has really changed and I don't mind answering questions like "What if I don't want to go to every grocery store" No worries! Choose your own adventure and you're awesome for just getting out there and helping out the community!
THAT BEING SAID
Meet at the Capital at 10:30 to to pick up your manifest for the event that starts at 11am, a brief motivational talk will happen before everyone starts, a group picture by a nice bystander, and to make sure everyone knows what is happening, and then the ride starts at 11am sharp.
WHAT DO I NEED?
Bring a bike, a bag, a lock, and money to buy food. There will be a bonus stops if you want The ending spot of the ride is TBA after you drop off all of your good at the Goodman Center. Also, no one will be mad if you donate more! Bring a big trailer on that awesome bike of yours! The more the better!

All of the food collected at grocery stores will benefit the Fritz Food Pantry-The Goodman Community Center . Every year, they help provide thousands of needy families with a wealth of food during the week of Thanksgiving.
