Take a deep breath and thank the trees! Join this after-work Arbor day hike to enjoy a beautiful sunset and to celebrate all things arboreal. On a guided hike through the Castle Hill grounds, woodland trails, and pine grove, participants will learn all about the natural and non-native/introduced trees living at The Crane Estate. Participants will use all five senses to meet a tree; practice some tree yoga (optional); learn to ID trees via their leaves, bark, and seeds; discover unique adaptations for survival; and gain an expanded appreciation for all the benefits that trees provide!This program is completely outdoors and invovles walking ~2 miles across a variety of terrain including unpaved trails, grass, and soft sand.
