Come explore the powerful art of propaganda poster design in this hands-on workshop. Using traditional letterpress printing with wood and metal type, combined with linoleum block carving, participants will create their own 10″ x 13″ poster. During the workshop, you’ll learn how to design, carve, and print on a Vandercook SP-15 proofing press, and draw inspiration from both historical and contemporary propaganda. All skill levels are welcome. Note: All materials, including paper, ink, linoleum blocks, carving tools, and letterpress equipment, will be provided.
