No matter your skill level, the Crafting Circle is the perfect place for you to come together with like-minded individuals and experience the joy of crafting in a warm and welcoming environment.What to Expect:
- Crafting Diversity: Bring your crochet hooks, knitting needles, embroidery hoops, quilting squares, beading supplies, leatherworking tools, sketchbooks, and any other crafty treasures you cherish. In our Crafting Circle, all forms of creative expression are not only welcome but celebrated!
- Build Lasting Connections: Crafting is more than just a solitary activity; it's an opportunity to connect with others who share your passion. Join us to build meaningful relationships with fellow crafters, share ideas, and inspire each other's artistic journeys.
- Boost Your Mental Health: Engaging in creative activities has been proven to reduce stress, improve mood, and boost mental well-being.
What to bring: Your crafting supplies and favorite beverage (tea & water available)
Note: The level you interact with others while in the circle is completely up to you! If you're not feeling talkative, no worries and please show up anyway if that feels good to you. Just let Joy know when you arrive so your interaction levels can be honored. Sometimes it's enough just to sit and soak up the juju.

Joy Schulz is the heart and soul behind The Radiant Hooker and has been hooking yarn into fab creations since 2022! The Radiant Hooker started as an ADHD hyperfocus hobby and mental health boosting tool for a chronically overstimulated & recovering workaholic. Joy quickly found that her creations not only helped her feel more radiant and peaceful when she created and then wore them, they also helped others express themselves.
Community has been a big part of the hooking journey for Joy as without the support of others, sitting around with yarn on the couch probably wouldn’t have lasted. Having an online community of other crafters to support, cheerlead, and have community with is a big bright spot in her week! Knowing how much impact its had on her, Joy is now excited to bring the Crafting Circle to Radiant Living Center!
