Craft a signature, reusable 3-inch rubber stamp! Whether you want to create a classic "Ex Libris" bookplate stamp to mark your personal library or carve a striking graphic motif inspired by Inktober prompts, this hands-on workshop will guide you step-by-step through the process.In this beginner-friendly 2-hour session, you will learn the fundamentals of relief block printing—from initial concept and image transfer to carving techniques, inking, and stamping.
You will get a live demonstration and hands-on practice with heat embossing, learning how to elevate your stamped images into raised, glossy metallic prints!
What You’ll Learn
- Design & Transfer: How to compose a clear, bold design suited for relief carving and mirror-transfer your image onto a rubber block.
- Carving Safety & Techniques: How to safely handle V-gouge and U-gouge carving tools to achieve clean lines, fine details, and rich textures.
