Resin Art: Faux Stained Glass Bookend Workshop
at Menagerie on Main, Thursday, October 8th from 6:00-8:30PM.
Come learn how to create these beautiful faux stained glass bookends. You will select from three laser cut designs (butterfly, monstera leaf or flower). You’ll have a choice of paint/ stains for the bookends and design. You’ll select crushed glass to fill the design and use UV resin to seal the glass in place.
This is a customizable project, images are just for example purposed. Your final piece may not look exactly like the one featured.
This is a beginner /intermediate resin art workshop. No experience needed but there are several steps to this project that I will guide you through.
For this resin project we will use Just Resin (and/or JDiction) brand UV Resin and UV resin lights. All participants must wear gloves while handling resin and if you are sensitive to odors, N95 masks will be available to wear during the resin pour and curing. You will leave the class with a complete bookend set.
Cost: $65 - INCLUDES all instruction, materials and tools to complete a bookend set.
